Services We Provide
Asbestos Abatement
Asbestos abatement is common and is performed in all types of buildings and facilities. Asbestos materials (manufactured products that have asbestos fibers in them) are found in almost every building built before 1978 when the asbestos ban started. Although it was banned, it is not uncommon to find asbestos in construction materials in building built after 1978.
Our team of asbestos abatement and removal experts will remove your asbestos in the safest way possible, eliminating any health risks.
Our asbestos abatement services includes:
- We will provide a free estimate of the total abatement cost.
- We will present you with a plan that is best suited to your situation and your property.
- We will remove and dispose of the asbestos.
Mold Abatement
Mold or fungal abatement goes hand-in-hand with asbestos and lead abatement. Mold abatement utilizes the same work practices and engineering controls as asbestos abatement, from the erection of containments, the creation of isolated work areas with critical barriers, and negative air machines equipped with HEPA filters to create air changes and negative pressure in the work area.
PG&J Environmental, Inc. has performed mold abatement’s in many types of structures from single-family residences, restaurants, hospitals, offices, and commercial facilities. PG&J Environmental, Inc. has a staff that is well versed in the removal of mold and will help you design your project so that the fungi present in your building are removed correctly.
Lead Abatement
PG&J Environmental, Inc. performs many types of lead abatement. We commonly assist general contractors and building owners and facility managers remove lead to support their projects. Lead abatement and control projects are fairly easy to price and to perform.
Lead waste disposal on the other hand can be confusing as it is not as straight-forward as asbestos waste determination. To determine how to get rid of your lead waste, EPA lead waste stream analysis must be performed. To do this, samples are collected and sent to a laboratory for specific testing using EPA analytical methodologies.
We have performed a great many lead abatement operations and can help design your lead abatement project. We can walk you through the steps in determining how to dispose of your lead waste once it is removed.
PCB Abatement
PG&J Environmental, Inc. performs PCB decontamination and clean-up. We have decontaminated and encapsulated thousands of square feet of concrete that was contaminated with PCB oils. We have collected free standing oils and dielectric fluids, and have pumped and triple-rinsed large transformers for electrical companies and facility owners and disposed of the liquids and carcasses.
Demolition
PG&J Environmental, Inc. performs a wide range of demolition services. We do a lot of selective demolition for tenant improvement projects, roof removals, remove structures such as houses and small buildings, and demolish stacks, boilers, and furnaces. We have abated and demolished many structures in the Southern California area. Give us a call to see if we can help you remove parts of structures, or whole structures to support your project.
